Children Available:
Healthy, male and female infants 12 months of age, toddlers and older children up to sixteen year and sibling groups. The children can be of Russian or Chinese heritage which is called Mongoloid.

Travel Requirements:
There three ways to provide service from Kazakhstan:
1. We can provide a referral before the dossier has been completed. If the family accepts the referral, we will hold the child while the dossier is being completed.
2. OR after the dossier has been completed, sent and registered in Kazakhstan, then we can provide a referral within 2-3 months. If the parents accept the referral, then we will prepare a special invitation from Kazakhstan. Based on this invitation, the family will obtain a visa to travel. The parents should apply for their visa in Kazakhstan Embassy in Washington DC. The time frame from accepting the referral to getting the invitation is approximately 1-2 months.
3. Self Select Choice.
After the dossier has been completed, sent and registered in Kazakhstan, the parents will receive an invitation. At this time they will obtain a visa and then they can travel. They will be taken to different orphanages in order to choose their own child.
With the self select option, if you choose one trip, the family will stay for 5-6 weeks.

If you decide on two trips, then the first trip is around 4 weeks. The family will go back to the USA for 2-3 weeks. When the process is complete and we are informed, then only one of the parents need to go back for the child for an approximately 5-8 days. The length of travel does not depend on which of the three ways of adoption the family will choose.

Length of Process:
The length of process depends on the option you choose. If you submit your dossier for registration, then it would be from 1-3 months to get a referral.

Criteria:
Married couples and single women are eligible to adopt from Kazakhstan.
There are no strict age requirements but preference is given to adoptive parents between 25-45 years of age.
You can have biological children in your home.

Interesting Facts:
There is a wide variety of backgrounds of the children.
The health care is very good. The babies receive evaluations by Neurologists, Orthopedic Specialists, Speech Pathologists, Physical Therapists and Teachers.
The country is a very beautiful and peaceful country
Low ratio of child to caregiver.
Quite safe place to travel and stay.
